Arrow Tool Group® is teaming up with DIY content creator, Serena Appiah, of Thrift Diving, to launch the 30-Day "Fall Overhaul" Makeover Challenge — a nationwide movement encouraging homeowners, renters, and DIY enthusiasts to transform one space, room, or project in 30 days.
Challengers will receive weekly emails with DIY advice, tools tips, and motivation to complete their projects. For each task that challengers complete (sharing project updates, submitting final pictures, and more), they'll earn additional entries into the Arrow "Fall Overhaul" Giveaway!

What is the 30-Day "Fall Overhaul" Challenge, and do I have to join the challenge?
Arrow Tool Group is teaming up with DIY content creator, Serena Appiah, from Thrift Diving, to host the 30-Day "Fall Overhaul" challenge! The goal of the challenge is to motivate you and your fellow DIYers to pick one project, room, or space to overhaul starting September 1 through September 30, 2025.
Not only will you get weekly supportive emails from Serena to help inspire and motivate you during the challenge, but you'll also get to share updates and wins with other Challenge participants! Even more exciting, the more challenge activities you do, the more entries you'll get in the Arrow Fall Overhaul giveaway!
Participating in the challenge is optional and is not required to enter the giveaway. However, if you love the idea of working alongside other Challengers to tackle a project or space you've been meaning to complete, and earn more entries, then this challenge is for you!
How many times can I enter the giveaway?
You may enter the giveaway once by entering your name and email. However, you can earn additional entries into the $1,000 Arrow Fall Overhaul Giveaway by signing up for the 30-Day "Fall Overhaul" Makeover Challenge! By entering the challenge and completing the tasks (and a project), you'll earn more chances to win!
What kind of project should I do?
You can do any project that helps you improve or refresh your space! Reupholster a piece of furniture, paint a room, build something, organize a closet, refinish furniture, or do a full room makeover—it's your choice!
Do I need to use Arrow tools?
Nope! But we’d love for you to give them a try. We'll be featuring new and helpful Arrow tools like staple guns, hand tools, office supplies, and more in weekly tips and tutorials.
Is the challenge open to international DIYers?
The giveaway is only open to U.S. residents. If you live internationally, you may still participate in the challenge for inspiration and motivation!
When does the challenge start and end?
Registration for the challenge (and the giveaway!) opens on August 13, 2025. The 30-Day "Fall Overhaul" Challenge kicks off on September 1, 2025, and will end on September 30, 2025.
When and how will winners be announced?
Winners will be selected randomly. The more actions you take (sharing your progress, tagging #MadeWithArrow, submitting your final project, etc.), the more entries you’ll earn! Winners will be selected on or about October 15th, 2025, and will be posted on our Arrow Tool Group website.

Official Rules: Arrow Tool Group 30-Day Fall Overhaul Makeover Challenge

1. Eligibility:
The Arrow Tool Group 30-Day Fall Overhaul Makeover Challenge ("Contest") is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry, except where prohibited or restricted by law. Void in Florida, New York, Rhode Island, and where prohibited. Employees, officers, and directors of Arrow Tool Group ("Sponsor"), its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household are not eligible to participate.
2. Contest Period:
The Contest begins on September 1, 2025, at 12:00 AM Eastern Time ("ET") and ends on September 30, 2025, at 11:59 PM ET ("Contest Period"). Sponsor’s clock is the official time-keeping device for this Contest.
3. How to Enter:
• Participants must sign up by visiting ThriftDiving's website and completing the online registration form by September 5, 2025.
• Upon registration, participants will receive weekly emails with tips and project assignments.
• To be eligible for prizes, participants must complete a DIY makeover project during the Contest Period and submit "before and after" photos by October 6, 2025.
• Participants are encouraged to share progress updates on social media using the hashtag #ArrowOverhaulChallenge for extra chances to win.
4. Prizes:
• Grand Prize: $500 Arrow Tool Group gift card for arrowtoolgroup.com + $500 American Express gift card.
• 29 Runner-Up Prizes: $100 Arrow Tool Group, arrowtoolgroup.com gift cards.
5. Winner Selection and Notification:
• Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received by October 15, 2025.
• Winners will be announced live on October 15, 2025, during a live social media event hosted by ThriftDiving.
• Winners will be notified by email within five (5) business days following the live event and may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, liability/publicity release, and/or provide additional information as a condition of receiving a prize.
6. Taxes and Reporting:
All federal, state, and local taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of winners. Arrow Tool Group will issue an IRS Form 1099-MISC to any winner receiving prizes with a cumulative value of $600 or more. Winners of such prizes may be required to provide a completed IRS Form W-9 prior to receiving their award.
7. Additional Rules:
• Limit one entry per person.
• Prizes are non-transferable, and no substitutions are allowed except at Sponsor’s discretion.
• By entering, participants agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects.
8. Rights Granted by Entrants:
By entering, participants grant Arrow Tool Group the right to use their submitted project photos, name, likeness, and statements about the Contest for promotional purposes in any media, without further compensation.
9. Limitation of Liability:
Arrow Tool Group is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, or misdirected entries, or for any technical failures of any kind.

Serena Appiah is the founder of Thrift Diving, a widely followed blog, YouTube channel, and podcast dedicated to helping people transform their homes on a budget with paint, tools, and thrifted treasures. After buying her 1973 home, she taught herself furniture refinishing and woodworking, igniting a passion for DIY that she now shares through hands-on tutorials, project demonstrations, and speaking engagements. In addition to her content, Serena is enrolled in the Building Trades Program at Montgomery College and serves as a Crew Leader with Habitat for Humanity Metro Maryland. She lives just outside Washington, D.C., with her husband and their three sons.
